Lesson -1- Bismillah

Bismillah means....!

"I began in the name of ALLAH the kindest and merciful"

Bismillah has 3 names of ALLAH in it - ALLAH, REHMAN and RAHIM.

Before beginning anything we should always say Bismillah hir Rehman nir Rahim.

By saying Bismillah we stay away from the bad things and the bad intentions of the Shaitan.

By reciting Bismillah before everything...!

we remember ALLAH, therefore ALLAH will also remember us and help us in it.

In the Quran, there is Bismillah before every Soora except Soor-e-Bara'at.

Our 1st Imam, Imam Ali (a.s) has said:

" All the knowledge of the Quran is in Sure Alhamd...

   All the knowledge of Sure Alhamd is in Bismillah..

   All the knowledge of Bismillah is in the letter "ب "(ba),

   And all the knowledge of "ب " is in the nuqtah below it,

   

And that nuqtah is me."

Prophet Mohamad (saww) has said:

" If you start any work without saying Bismillah, it will never be successful."

We should always say Bismillah before eating or drinking anything.

Our 8th Imam, Imam Ali Reza (as) has said...

"In the eye like the blackness and whiteness are beside each other, the same way Bismillah and Isme Azam of ALLAH  are related to each other."

A short true story about bismillah:

Once Hazrat Isa (as) was walking past a grave....

He saw there was punishment going on in the grave....

Some days later he was walking past the same grave again....

This time instead of the punishment... ALLAH was bestowing blessings on the grave...!

Hazrat Isa (as) asked ALLAH (swt) what was happening ?

ALLAH (swt) replied that this man whose grave it was, was a sinner...!

But now his child has started to go to madressa and has learnt Bismillah...!

So I am ashamed to punish that person whose child remembers me."
